It has been a very busy few months, hence the no updated blogs! Well that and our computer crashed! Thomas and I were married on October 22nd 2010, in an small ceremony at my dad and stepmom's house followed by a reception at Joe T's! It was beautiful. The night before Thomas' parents hosted a rehearsal dinner for us at Walnut Creek Country Club, which was wonderful. My sister Sara created a slide show of Thomas and I and we loved it! There is so much we are thankful for during this time but most of all to our families and our friends who helped make our day so special! We left the following morning for Playa Del Carmen, my aunt and uncle have a place there so we are fortunate to be able to stay, its one of our favorite places! We relaxed on beach, got massages and ate some great food. It was hard to leave and come back to Kansas cold and windy weather. I have to say, even though its only been 3 weeks, I am loving being a wife, Mrs. Erika Edwards!

Its been a long time since my last blog, mostly bc I broke the camera Thomas gave me and hadnt had new pics :( Well my sweet soon to be In Laws bought me a camera for Christmas!! Not only did I have a wonderful Christmas but I also moved to Kansas the day after Christmas. Before I left my friends "The Supper Sisters" threw me a surprise going away dinner at Campo Verde..I was very surprised and can not put into words how much it meant to me to have everyone there to say goodbye! My sister Sara also put together A going away family dinner. She cooked for us all and it was wonderful. Leaving so many special people back home was the hardest thing I have ever done but absolutley the best thing as well bc now I am with the man I love everyday! The first 2 weeks were very hard (it was snowing and in the teens but felt -10 for days) I finally have got into a groove here in Kansas and most of all just really am grateful I have such a wonderful fiance, he makes me so happy! Being away from my family and friends makes me appreciate them so much. I miss everyone and cant wait to see them soon when I come and visit. My sister Lana and her daughter Maya (MYMY as Thomas nicknamed her) came and stayed with us for a week. It was so wonderful to have them here, Mymy is precious and seriously the best baby I have ever been around. I have lots of pics to share!!

Too long since last post!

It has been so busy since my last post. Thomas and I had the best time with Lana, Lee and Maya in Puerto Rico ( I will post pics as soon as I get from dad's camera) They were the best hosts and Maya was precious. Lana was able to spend a lot of time with Thomas and she loves him almost as much as I do :)

I finally told my work Hexter-Fair and My boss Pat who i have worked with for many years, that I am moving in Dec to be with Thomas in Kansas. It was very emotional and sad, but ever since I told her I feel so much better about the move. I will be sad to leave everyone exp my family but I am so ready to be able to be with Thomas on a daily basis. Long distance has been tough but he is absolutley worth it.

I am trying to spend as much time as I can with friends and family before Christmas, I leave 12/26....my family wouldnt be happy about me moving but b/c its for Thomas they are very happy, they think he is pretty awesome! I am excited to start my life with Thomas and this new adventure im Kansas... ill get pics soon of Puerto Rico but in the mean time here is yet another cute pic of my sweet MYMY (our new nickname for her, thomas made it up)

I am so excited, Thomas and I leave on Wednesday to visit my sister Lana, Lee and her new baby Maya!! I cant tell you how happy I am i finally get to meet my sweet little Maya!! San Juan is so much fun too and I love staying with Lee and Lana , they are great hosts....Lee is an amazing cook. I know Thomas is going to love them as much as I do.

Last night my sweet friends Chadd and Sarah Miloud took my nephew Preston and me to the circus. We had such a great time, even though cotton candy was $12 and snow cones $15 - I couldnt believe it. Thank you Milouds for such a wonderful night.

I leave for Wichita , KS tonight to see my sweet fiance Thomas. Its been a while since I saw him last since he was sick around my birthday and couldnt come down to Arlington. I miss him so much and I cant wait to get there. He is taking me golfing with our friends Justin and Gina, this should be intersting since I dont play!!!

Last but not least I have more new pics of Maya, Thomas and I leave for Puerto Rico Sept 2nd and I cant wait to see that precious baby , Lana and Lee. !!

I wanted to share some new pics of my neice Maya Nicole, she is so beautiful. Mom, dad and baby are doing well. Maya has already been to the beach many times. Lana said she is a perfect Angel.

I also wanted to thank all my sweet friends for making my birthday so special. Thomas was sick and unable to come to town. My girls still made it special! Love you all :-)

All I can say is I am sooooooooooo happy it is Friday, this week has been a rough one at work! Sunday is my cousin Tyler's 26th birthday. Tyler is very special to me, he is more like my brother than a cousin! I was flying last month to see Thomas and saw a floating Beer Pong table(in airline mag) for his pool and i thought i have to get for Tyler, well i ordered it and it came in and he loved it! This will mean a lot fun in his pool for this summer! Happy Birthday Cuz, love you muchos!

I am so excited for Saturday lots of fun in the sun at my friend Brooke's - Cant wait to see all my girls!

PS...My birthday is next Sunday and I can't wait to see my sweet fiance Thomas, I miss him so much and he is taking me to see my all time favorite band ever...TOOL - :-)

My sisters...my best friends

I have the greatest sisters in the world. MY older sisters Amy Vasson and Laura Puccino (twins) and my little sisters Lana Major and Sara Pollock (twins). No matter what these girls have always been there for me thru thick and thin. My older sisters were like mothers growing up and when i got older became like best friends. Sara and Lana would say i am annoying with the way i mother them but they are also my best friends. My sisters have given me the greatest joys of my life , my nieces and nephews. I can not tell you or explain the love i have for them, i am the aunt who will spoil them, hype them up on sugar and whatever else they want and then take them home..my sis Sara loves this about me (haha) Just thinking about moving away to KS and leaving Sara and P (everyone else lives out of state) is so heartbreaking(but worth it to be with Thomas) Sara and I have become super close, she also lived away traveling around the country riding her horses and living life like a rock star, then Preston came along and she came home (THANK YOU GOD) That little boy has changed me and my family, to have him around while he is growing up here in Arlington has been the biggest blessing. Lana lives in Puerto Rico and i havent been able to see baby Maya yet but my older sister and her family left today to see Lana, I am so jealous. Sun Fun and that sweet baby girl. I will post some pics of the baby when Laura sends them to me. I love you sisters, my life would not be what it is today with out the 4 of you!

My baby sister Lana and her Husband Lee had their first baby June 20th at 12:20AM. A beautiful baby girl Maya Nicole Major, born in San Juan , Puerto Rico. She is gorgeous, with black hair and bright blue eyes. As soon as I get my pics on email I will post them!

Today was her first trip to the beach!! Mom and Dad are over the moon!
